Frequently asked questions

Which carbohydrate products do you supply?

Monosaccharides, disaccharides, cyclodextrins and specialty sugar derivatives for pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic applications.

What grades are available?

Pharmacopoeia (USP/Ph. Eur.), food grade and reagent grade, each with the corresponding COA and, where applicable, allergen and GMO statements.

Do you supply cyclodextrins?

Yes, native alpha, beta and gamma cyclodextrin plus modified hydroxypropyl and sulfobutyl ether derivatives for solubilization and inclusion complexes.

How is purity verified?

HPLC assay, optical rotation, water content by Karl Fischer and conductivity where relevant are reported on every batch COA.

Which applications use your sugar derivatives?

Parenteral nutrition, lyophilization protectants, tablet diluents, cell culture media and cosmetic humectants among others.

What packaging is standard?

25 kg fibre drums with PE liners; small 1-5 kg packs are available for R&D.

What is the minimum order quantity?

From 1 kg for evaluation; commercial quantities from 100 kg.

What is the shelf life?

Typically 24-36 months in sealed, dry storage; specific retest dates appear on each COA.

Do you offer custom sugar chemistry?

Yes, protected sugars, glycosides and conjugates can be synthesized from gram to kilogram scale.

Can you provide Kosher or Halal certification?

Certified Kosher and Halal options are available for many sugar products; confirm certification scope when ordering.
