FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What reagent grades do you offer?

ACS/ISO analytical grades, HPLC and LC-MS grades, spectroscopy grades and anhydrous grades, each with specification matched to the technique.

How are HPLC grades different from regular grades?

HPLC grades control UV absorbance, particulate load and non-volatile residue so baseline noise and ghost peaks are minimized.

Is every batch tested?

Yes, each lot is tested against the specification and the COA lists actual measured values, not just limits.

What packaging sizes are available?

From 100 ml and 100 g bottles to 2.5 L and 25 kg packs, with ampoules for volatile standards.

How should reagents be stored?

As stated per product; many require 2-8 degrees C or light protection, and hygroscopic reagents belong in desiccated storage.

What is the shelf life?

Typically 12-36 months unopened; opened bottles of volatile or hygroscopic reagents should be used sooner.

Do you supply volumetric solutions and standards?

Yes, ready-to-use titrants and buffer solutions with traceable certification are available.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One bottle, with no practical minimum for catalogue packs.

Can you supply rare or specialist reagents?

Yes, including derivatization reagents, ion-pair reagents and derivatized standards; custom synthesis is possible.

What documentation is included?

COA with actual values, SDS and, where applicable, origin and traceability statements.
