FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which solar material categories do you cover?

Perovskite precursors such as methylammonium and formamidinium halides, lead halides, transport layer materials, and thin-film deposition chemicals.

What purity do your perovskite precursors have?

Typically 99.9% minimum with specific metal impurities controlled to the 10 ppm level, since trace metals strongly affect device efficiency and hysteresis.

How are air-sensitive materials packed?

Under argon in amber glass vials with PTFE seals, boxed with desiccant and moisture indicators.

What device data can you provide?

For principal perovskite systems we can share reference spin-coating parameters and expected device performance from partner laboratories.

What is the shelf life of perovskite precursor salts?

Typically 12 months stored sealed at 2-8 degrees C and protected from moisture; solutions should be freshly prepared.

Can you supply gram quantities for research?

Yes, from 1 g upward for lab devices, scaling to 100 g-plus for pilot module lines.

Do you offer lead-free alternatives?

Tin-based halide systems such as SnI2 and formamidinium tin iodide are available for lead-free device research.

What is the typical lead time?

Catalogue precursors ship in 1-2 weeks; newly synthesized structures typically need 3-6 weeks.

What analytical data is included?

HPLC or titration assay, ICP-MS metal scan, NMR confirmation for organic salts, and Karl Fischer water content.

Can you prepare custom stoichiometric precursor blends?

Yes, pre-mixed cation and halide blends to your device recipe are available under confidentiality.
