FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What solvent grades do you supply?

Industrial, technical, HPLC, spectroscopy and anhydrous grades across common families such as alcohols, ketones, esters, ethers, aromatics and chlorinated solvents.

How is water content controlled?

Anhydrous grades are specified below 50-200 ppm water by Karl Fischer titration, with values shown on the COA.

What packaging options are available?

1 L and 2.5 L bottles, 20 L pails, 200 L drums, 1000 L IBC and bulk tankers.

Are your solvents classified as dangerous goods?

Most flammable solvents are UN Class 3; we provide certified packaging and complete DG shipping documents.

Do you supply low-aromatic or low-VOC variants?

Yes, low-aromatic hydrocarbon blends and exempt-solvent options are available for coating and cleaning applications.

What impurity data is reported?

GC purity with identified impurities, water content, acidity or alkalinity, and residue on evaporation as applicable.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Single bottles for labs; commercial supply from drum to tanker volumes.

What is the typical lead time?

Stocked solvents ship in 2-5 business days; bulk deliveries are scheduled to order.

How should flammable solvents be stored?

In rated flammable cabinets or stores, cool and ventilated, away from oxidizers and ignition sources, per local regulations.

Can you supply custom blends?

Yes, formulated solvent mixtures to your specification with batch GC verification.
